What is the difference between our door alarm and other open door alarm systems?
Alerta Chime, our door/window sensor chime, is for dementia and Alzheimer's patients. The door alarm has adjustable volume (seven levels; max 105 dB) and the chime can be heard across many rooms. You can customize the chime sound (entrance alarm sound) so that it is familiar to your loved ones. The open door alarm doesn't need a contract, Wi-Fi, or other internet connection. And the chime alarm is small and has low power consumption. Installation is also easy. You can improve door security for dementia patients & Alzheimer's patients with less cost. We are sure that it will give you peace of mind.
Does Alerta Chime also work as a kids’ door alarm?
Yes. Our door/window alarm with chime is also designed as a kids’ door alarm. You can customize the door open alarm sound to something that your kids like.
How to update or change audio files?
Our door sensor chime has a feature to update or change the door open or close alarm sound. 1) Connect door sensor chime to a computer with a micro-USB data cable. 2) Create two new folders named “warning” and “welcome” on disk, if they do not exist. 3) Copy an audio file (mp3) for door sensor chime to “warning” and to “welcome” folders.
How to adjust chime alarm volume?
Press and release button “B” to select one of seven chime alarm volume levels.
Can I change open alarm to door close alarm?
Yes, There are two Door Closed modes: interrupt playback and continue playback. Please download and see the user guide for Alerta Chime.
